Project Coach
This career prep program prepares members to be workforce-ready by placing them in clubhouse training programs and encouraging interview and resume development through workshops, career exploration, exposure to external internships, and assistance in securing paid employment.

High School Access 101
All roads lead to High School- 8th graders will learn about the various types of high schools (public, specialized, Parochial, private boarding and day school) and determine their best fit. They will be supported through the application process, which may include admission testing prep, essay prep & evaluation, interview prep, financial aid workshops etc.

Understanding and preparing for the SSAT and the SHSAT are crucial. These sessions will break down all aspects of the Verbal and Math along with strategies, interactive lessons, and review to prepare for the actual exams.

DEBATE CLUB
Members will come together to have a healthy discussion on a particular topic in which opposing arguments are put forward and different viewpoints are challenged. Members will learn the rules and vocabulary of debate, how to express their thoughts and opinions, and how to research support for their claims.

Write Your Own Story & HSA 101
Embracing your story is so important when sharing what makes you unique. We will gather to read excerpts from various urban writers, view short videos, and at times hear from the poets/writers themselves to better understand their story and inspiration to share and express through words. Members will build literacy skills, self-reflection, awareness, and communication while sharing their stories through spoken word, interpretation, and more.
